Origin Engines and the Propane Energy Resource Council recently release an emissions-certified 9.1-liter propane irrigation engine. The new engine will be an efficient, cost-effective alternative to pricey Tier 4 diesel engines.

Origin & PERC partnership responds to increased need for energy efficient agricultural engines

Together, Origin and PERC have developed three engines. Their partnership rose from a need for efficient, emissions certified engines as diesel engines have increasingly become more expensive.

PERC invested in research and development of the engine. Origin applied their industry expertise to improve a time-tested engine with modern technology.

Propane engine qualifies for $3,640 incentive

Farmers who purchase this the Origin 9.1-liter engine are eligible for this rebate through the PERC Propane Farm Incentive Program. PERC also offers incentives for propane-powered irrigation engines, grain dyers, mowers, and more – making it affordable for farmers to try new propane technologies.
