In reply to stan. I'd keep about the same size. However, consider if your needs are apt to change. For example, with our new stay at home schedules, we often use more hot water. You should take this into consideration.

My home has a propane system that includes a hard gas line to my rear deck, with a shutoff valve. So most of the issues you discuss dont apply to my situation….other than not to be forgetful, which applies regardless.

Thank you for explaining how supply and demand are the two factors that influence propane prices the most. My brother is thinking about moving to a remote area next summer and needs to find some affordable fuel for his water heater, but he is worried that it will be difficult to keep the water warm since all five of his children plan on showering after school each day. Hopefully, he can find some affordable propane once he moves.

The gas pipe valve outside my window leaks gas snd I can’t open my bedroom window for fresh air. Called gas company snd said there is nothing they can do. What can I do to stop or divert gas away from the window?
